O2 ABC

The Ice Palace, The Hippodrome O2 ABC Glasgow
once housed Scotland’s first cinema in 1896 and
over the years was also known as and Hengler’s
Circus until reverting to its cinema status in the
20th Century in various incarnations as the Regal,
the MGM, Cannon and of course, the ABC until 1999.

Converted to a concert venue in June 2005
following an extensive £2m conversion by
Regular Music O2 ABC Glasgow is one of Scotland’s
biggest music venues.


Every Thursday night the o2 ABC hosts a club
night named Jelly Baby, with Jelly Baby nights
being hosted in four major cities through Scotland,
this is Defiantly Glasgow’s biggest student night
which has an attendance of over 2,000 club goers.  
A £5 entrance fee and cheap promotional
drinks at £1, you can defiantly go out on a budget. 
Having said that if you like your club nights to
be more intimate and the venues to have a bit of
character, the o2 is not for you. There’s crowds of
people jumping about right across the dance floor,
with drinks being spilt and cues for the toilets it might
not be to everyone’s taste.

Karbon

Karbon night club brings a lively night to Glasgow
 city centre 6 nights out of the 7.

You can be reassured  a busy night with a
great buzz nearly ever time you pay the £5
entrance fee at the front door, and thats after you have
been waiting in a lengthy cue that stretches around the corner.

This venue has 3 separate rooms with different
music playing within each. They play hip-hop, house
and pop for the most part. 

Some of the biggest names in the electro scene has blessed
Karbon, it  has seen the likes of DJ Sab, DJ Stink
and DJ Tin Man blasting there electrifying beats
out the massive club speakers. They played the best
in house, drum and base and techno all night long
for their adoring fans, and thats only after they have
toured the rest of the UK and europe to their gigantic following .

If your looking for a great night with popular
electro music it this club and hit it hard.

Kushion


If you want to dance the night away,
Kushion is the place to be. They have ram
packed club nights, its an all dancing, decked
out club . Curtains, Kushion's and plush
décor. Kushions has a  unique image which
creates an advantage over all the other clubs
in the vibrant city of Glasgow.

Over the past 4 years Juicy Tuesday’s have become
 an institution amongst the student elite. 


Providing students with their most primitive needs:
cheap drinks, music and the opposite sex! 

With
House DJ’s and a packed house, this is  quite possibly
worth missing lectures for!

and Lil L . With a £5 door entry your best to be
heading there early doors so you can take advantage
of there cheep drinks. Only thing is though, if your
looking to catch up with friends for a chat and sit
around a table and have a laugh, Kustion will not
be for you, the music blasts out the speakers at an
unbelievable volume, so best get practicing the hand
gestures and configure your sign language with
mates before you enter.
